  2. Chemical-Free Cooling Tower Treatment: The installation of Scale & Bio Remover enables the treatment of cooling tower water without chemicals, reducing water consumption by up to 15%.
  3. PNG/Boiler Free Hot Water Generation: The hotel employs Heat Pumps for hot water generation, reducing PNG consumption by 400 SCM and saving 1650 kg of CO2 emissions.
  4. EV Chargers: By installing EV Chargers, Taj Mahal promotes sustainability and contributes to the reduction of fossil fuel consumption.
  5. Energy-Efficient Motors and Air-conditioning: Conventional ventilation fans have been replaced with high-efficiency motors, and energy-efficient Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs) have been installed. This results in significant monthly savings of approximately 5000 units.
  6. Organic Waste Composter: Taj Mahal, New Delhi, has a 200 kg capacity organic waste composter, enabling the proper management of food waste.
  7. Rainwater Harvesting: The hotel has a dedicated rainwater harvesting pit to recharge groundwater, ensuring the efficient utilization of water resources.

  1. Air Quality Management: Taj Palace offers the cleanest and purest air in the city. The hotel has installed advanced electrostatic air cleaners (EACs) in its air handling units to filter out pollutants and maintain an ambient air quality index in accordance with international standards.
  2. Water Treatment and Bottling Plant: With a state-of-the-art Water Treatment and Bottling Plant, Taj Palace produces safe drinking water of the highest quality using reverse osmosis, ozonation, and UV technology.
  3. Waste Management: The hotel’s on-site Bio-Gas Plant manages food waste from its kitchens, producing bio-gas energy, high-quality fertilizers, and improving hygienic conditions by reducing pathogens.
  4. Power Saving Initiatives: Taj Palace utilizes a comprehensive Energy Management System to monitor energy and power consumption. Guest rooms are equipped with smart lighting, LEDs, and energy saver units, resulting in substantial energy savings.
  5. Water Management and Conservation: The hotel employs altered aerators, sensor-based taps, dual-flushing systems, and condensate heat recovery systems to conserve water. Additionally, Powasava Units, Paanitech, and ATC systems are installed for power quality improvement and efficient cooling tower water treatment.
