Gautam Solar Expands Manufacturing Footprint with New 3.2 GWp Solar Module Plant in Haryana

With state-of-the-art automation and high-speed production lines, Gautam Solar aims to achieve 5 GW solar module capacity by 2025, strengthening India’s renewable energy sector.

Gautam Solar has set a new benchmark in India’s renewable energy sector by establishing a state-of-the-art solar module manufacturing plant in Bhiwani, Haryana, within just one year. Spanning over 60 acres, the facility is one of the largest in the region, significantly boosting the company’s production capacity.

Equipped with cutting-edge automation and advanced high-speed production lines from Tier-1 machine suppliers, the plant has already helped Gautam Solar surpass 2 GW capacity. The ongoing installation of additional high-speed lines will increase total production to 3.2 GWp by March 2025. The company aims to scale up further, targeting a 5 GW solar module manufacturing capacity by the end of 2025, reinforcing India’s self-reliance in renewable energy manufacturing.

Strengthening India’s Solar Supply Chain

With over 27 years of expertise, Gautam Solar is expanding into solar cell production, addressing critical supply chain gaps and reducing reliance on imports. This strategic move aligns with India’s target of achieving 500 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030.

Mr. Gautam Mohanka, CEO of Gautam Solar, emphasized the company’s commitment to India’s clean energy transition:
“By scaling our solar module manufacturing capacity to 5 GW, we are playing a key role in meeting the rising demand for high-quality solar modules, driven by the government’s 50 GW annual tenders. Gautam Solar is determined to lead India’s renewable energy future.”

Future Growth and Market Expansion

Gautam Solar has outlined a strategic roadmap, including significant investments and an upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO). The IPO will strengthen the company’s market presence, attract investor confidence, and ensure financial stability while reducing dependency on external borrowings.

As one of the fastest-growing players in India’s solar industry, Gautam Solar continues to push boundaries, making substantial contributions to the country’s renewable energy landscape and global solar leadership.
