BizDateUp Facilitates ₹100 Crore Strategic Alliance to Deploy 10,000 Electric Two-Wheelers Across India

The strategic collaboration between BattRE, EV91, and evpe, enabled by BizDateUp, aims to revolutionize last-mile logistics and boost sustainable mobility, with rollouts beginning Q2 2025.

In a major boost to India’s clean mobility movement, BizDateUp, one of the leading ecosystem enablers for startups, has facilitated a strategic ₹100 crore partnership between BattRE Electric Mobility, EV91, and evpe. This collaboration aims to deploy 10,000 electric two-wheelers across the country starting in Q2 2025, focusing on revolutionizing last-mile logistics and promoting sustainable transportation.

The initiative comes at a time when India’s electric vehicle (EV) sector is witnessing unprecedented growth. As per data from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways’ Vahan portal, EV sales in calendar year 2024 soared to 1.95 million units, up from 1.53 million in 2023. Electric two-wheelers alone recorded sales of 1.15 million units, marking a 33% year-on-year surge — largely driven by favorable policies, increasing consumer awareness, and deeper penetration into Tier II and Tier III cities.

Under the leadership of Jeet Chandan, Founder and Director of BizDateUp, the company played a pivotal role in aligning stakeholders, structuring the partnership, and securing one of the most impactful EV deployment deals in the country’s history.

As part of the collaboration:

BattRE Electric Mobility will supply high-performance electric scooters designed for logistics and delivery operations.

EV91, a rising logistics fleet aggregator, will manage the deployment across urban and semi-urban markets, building a sustainable last-mile delivery network.

evpe, a dedicated EV financing platform, will offer accessible and scalable ownership models, making fleet acquisition financially viable for both drivers and businesses.

“This isn’t just a deal but a statement,” said Jeet Chandan. “BizDateUp thrives on building powerful partnerships that drive real change. This alliance between BattRE, EV91, and evpe exemplifies how we blend vision, capital, and execution to accelerate sustainable innovation.”

Pankaj Sharma, Co-Founder of BattRE, echoed the sentiment: “This ₹100 crore partnership validates our mission to empower India’s clean mobility transition. With demand rising in smaller towns, this deployment helps us serve the real growth markets.”

Arun Kumar, Founder & CEO of EV91, highlighted the sector’s transformation: “EV adoption is now a sustainability necessity. With BizDateUp’s strategic guidance, we’re poised to redefine eco-conscious logistics across India.”

Rohan Yeggina, Co-Founder & CEO of evpe, added: “Financing is often a hurdle in EV adoption. Our collaborative model with BattRE and EV91 makes EV fleet ownership accessible, particularly in underserved and emerging markets.”

The deployment is projected to generate over 10,000 green jobs and reduce carbon emissions by approximately 25,000 tonnes annually — contributing meaningfully to India’s environmental and economic goals.

This partnership underscores the potential of startup ecosystems and strategic collaborations to drive large-scale, impactful change in India’s EV landscape.
