Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rajasthan’s power distribution companies—Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL), Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL), and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JDVVNL).
This collaboration aims to promote renewable energy and energy conservation across the state, with a key focus on increasing rooftop solar adoption under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar: Muft Bijali Yojana (PMSG:MBY).The agreement was signed in the presence of Additional Chief Secretary for Energy, Alok, and Rajasthan Discom Chairperson, Arti Dogra, along with senior officials from the three Discoms.
