SUNGROW COMPLETES GRID CONNECTION OF 400MW UTILITY-SCALE PV PLANT FOR SOFTBANK IN INDIA

Sungrow has announced that it has successfully completed its 400MW utility-scale PV plant in India. This project is located at Bhadla Solar Park, Rajasthan, India, which is connected to the grid on time and has reached commercial operation.

TANGEDCO TO FLOAT SOLAR AND WIND POWER TENDERS IN THE CURRENT FY

Tangedco reportedly got approval from Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulation Commission (TNERC) to float solar and wind power tenders for the current financial year. According to a report TNERC has set the minimum tariff for solar at Rs 3 per unit and Rs 2.65 per unit for wind.

SHAPOORJI PALLONJI GROUP REPORTEDLY PLANNING TO SELL $1 BILLION SOLAR ASSET

Shapoorji Pallonji Group is reportedly looking to sell $1 billion solar asset and bring outside investors into its green unit. The 153-year-old conglomerate is selling the solar asset to reduce debt.

GOVT PUT SOLAR PLAN ON A FAST TRACK, ASKS SECI TO FLOAT 4,000 MW TENDERS

In a bid to put the ambitious solar power capacity addition plan on a fast track, the government has reportedly asked SECI to float 4,000 MW tender in four months to February 2019.

According to Indian Express the government has asked SECI to bring 1,000 MW tenders every month from November 2018 to February 2019.
