Gautam Solar, one of India’s leading solar module manufacturers, has earned a place among the top 10 Indian solar manufacturers in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) released by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in October 2025. The company now holds an ALMM-approved solar module capacity of nearly 4 GW, underscoring its leadership in India’s fast-growing domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem.
According to the latest MNRE data, Gautam Solar’s Bhiwani (Haryana) facility contributes 3,224 MW, while its Haridwar (Uttarakhand) plant adds 710 MW to the approved capacity. Both plants adhere to the highest quality and compliance standards under the ALMM framework. The company is also setting up an additional 1 GW automated production line featuring Tier-1 robotic layup technology, expected to boost its total capacity to 5 GW by the end of 2025.
Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Gautam Mohanka, Director, Gautam Solar, said, “Our growing ALMM-approved capacity is a testament to our commitment towards scaling up domestic solar manufacturing and supporting India’s renewable energy ambitions. With advanced production lines, continuous investment in automation, and cutting-edge technology, we aim to deliver high-efficiency, reliable, and truly Made-in-India solar modules for utility, commercial, and rooftop projects.”
Gautam Solar’s recognition reinforces its strong presence in India’s renewable energy manufacturing landscape. The company continues to invest in next-generation technologies such as G12R TOPCon and other high-efficiency cell architectures, aligning with India’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and a sustainable, low-carbon energy future.
By expanding its R&D capabilities and manufacturing footprint, Gautam Solar is well-positioned to cater to the growing demand for advanced solar solutions across domestic and international markets.
